Our N/ATION Review:
In an otherwise crowded THC beverage picture, Tampa Bay's Last Rep is staking a claim as the recovery drink for people who train hard, yet still want a social off-ramp that isn't a six-pack, nor an over-sugared sports drink. The brand bills its zero-sugar, six-calorie seltzer as an "athletic recovery cocktail," pairing hemp-derived Delta-9 THC with CBG, electrolytes, and adaptogens like L-theanine and ashwagandha. It's less about getting buzzed and more about taking the edge off post-workout soreness and stress while giving you something to crack open with your training partners. Both flavors come in 5mg or 10mg THC options, so you can dial in the intensity to match your comfort level.
Orange
The Orange leans into a slightly sweeter, almost creamsicle-like texture that felt to us as the more indulgent of the two. It's plenty enjoyable straight out of the can as a standalone recovery beverage, but it also plays well with others. After trying solo, we mixed ours with Go Brewing's seasonal Pineapple Yuzu Radler and landed on a genuinely great functional/NA crossover cocktail.
Lime
Lime is the more restrained of the pair, with subtle citrus that doesn’t tip into dry or overtly-tart territory. Probably our favorite of the two. Like the Orange, it doubles nicely as a mixer. We combined with a Hiyo Watermelon Lime, turning it into something close to a margarita, refreshing yet elevated enough to make you forget it's both low calorie and alcohol-free.
Beyond flavor, the functional case here is real. Cannabinoids like THC and CBG are increasingly recognized for their anti-inflammatory properties, particularly at a certain amount and consistency, which can make Last Rep a preferred option over a traditional sports drink (or certainly a post-workout IPA).
