Our N/ATION Review:

Not every non-alcoholic brand is chasing the same goal, and Aplós “proxy” cocktails are built not to mimic existing drinks in the alcohol world, but to blaze their own path forward. The Florida-based company has built its reputation on functional, botanically-driven drinks that do something, with adaptogens, nootropics, and mood-supporting ingredients that give you a reason to reach for them beyond just skipping the booze. With a growing lineup of spirits and RTD cocktails, Aplós sits at the intersection of wellness and genuine cocktail culture. Their Dragon Fruit Martini is maybe the brand's most playful release to date, and quite possibly their most impressive.

This new ready-to-drink (RTD) arrives bright and vivid, living up to its name before you even take a sip. On the palate, it opens with a wave of tropical fruit — dragon fruit and kiwi front and center — refreshingly light but with real presence, not the flat sweetness you might expect from a canned cocktail. Then the green tea steps in, adding an herbal, slightly earthy undercurrent that grounds all that bursting fruit energy and gives the drink a layered complexity that feels genuinely elevated. The finish delivers a subtle but satisfying kick of peppercorn, which in retrospect might be the only thing reminiscent of its fully-alcoholic brethren. Under the hood it's a cocktail built upon Aplós Arise, the brand's functional spirit, loaded with adaptogens including l-theanine, moringa, and ginseng, a blend designed to support mood and focus without the fog of alcohol. At 50 calories, it earns its place both as a pre-dinner drink or a late-evening night cap. Pour it ice-cold into a martini glass for the full effect, or sip it straight from the can. In either event, it delivers.
