Based in Bedford, New York, oHHo has established itself as a sophisticated player in the hemp-derived beverage space, delivering a delicious, booze-free buzz with a focus on refined flavors and strength options. While we sampled the higher 10mg option that is THC-solo, the brand also offers 3mg, and 5mg versions that also include a CBD offset for balance.
Each can is engineered using fast-acting nanotechnology for a quick onset and smooth, consistent experience. At the lower strengths, oHHo also uses a dynamic blend of cannabinoids that include CBD to balance the THC's psychoactive effects and counter any soporific tendencies, ensuring a smooth high and a soft landing. The seltzers are light on the palate and the calories, clocking in at around 20 calories per 12 ounce serving. One of our favorite aspects of the brand is a departure from the usual flavor types, opting for fruit combinations that are a bit more unique.
Our exploration of the four core flavors included:
oHHo White Peach and Lemon Seltzer - Very subtle citrus, and less sour than you might expect. The peach balances out the lemon for a smoother vibe.
oHHo Red Cherry and Lime Seltzer - A bold, more traditional seltzer with a sophisticated edge, the lime provides a tart counterpoint to the deep, rich cherry.
oHHo Blood Orange and Pomegranate Seltzer - Perhaps our favorite of the bunch, we were pleasantly surprised the blood orange didn’t dominate, giving room to the pomegranate.
oHHo Pink Grapefruit and Elderflower Seltzer - This unexpected pairing is a floral delight, with the zesty bitterness of grapefruit lifted by the subtle, fragrant sweetness of elderflower.
