Our N/ATION Review:
With its May, 2025 debut, Float House is aiming to redefine the THC beverage landscape, introducing an innovative range of THC-infused, non-alcoholic beers. Spearheaded by award-winning brewer Gordon Whelpley, this pioneering brand chose Connecticut for its launch and initial distribution, a state that is also home to the established non-alcoholic leader, Athletic Brewing. Their inaugural offerings feature a vibrant West Coast-style THC IPA and a crisp, refreshing THC Lite, each crafted to deliver a subtle, low-dose THC experience free from alcohol. This rapidly expanding category promises significant growth as consumers seek new options.
Also part of the Float House collection, the Float House THC Lite beer aims for an approachable, easy-drinking experience in the THC beverage space, and a lighter option than their West Coast-inspired IPA. It offers a familiar profile for those accustomed to mainstream light lagers, making it an accessible entry point into the world of infused beers.
This brew is very similar to a macro lite beer, much like a Bud Light or Miller Lite, which speaks to its easy-drinking nature. It's designed for simple enjoyment, without overwhelming bitterness or complex flavors, making it ideal for casual sipping when you want to reach for a THC beverage, but not another seltzer water.
For now, Float House brews are available through retail partners across Connecticut, with direct-to-consumer sales via their website launching soon.
