Our N/ATION Review:
Launched in May 2025, Float House is aiming to take beer to new ‘highs’ with its line of THC-infused, non-alcoholic brews. Co-founded by Gordon Whelpley, an award-winning brewer with deep roots in the state, Float House has chosen Connecticut as its launching ground, a locale that is also home to NA craft leader, Athletic Brewing. The initial brand launch includes a West Coast-inspired THC IPA, and a snappy, refreshing THC Lite, both designed to provide a low-dose THC experience with CBD without the alcohol. This category and beverage company is one to watch.
The Float House THC IPA is an impressive hop-forward brew, pouring with a nice foamy, beer-like head, and is among the most true-to-its-craft, aromatic THC-infused brews we’ve encountered to date. Made with the proven craft beer combo of Mosaic, Simcoe & Citra hops, it delivers a robust hop-forward flavor profile, while maintaining a smooth finish, making for a really enjoyable drinking experience. It's a great option for those looking for a micro-dose of THC/CBD (the CBD content is actually higher, at 6mg), with a beverage that drinks just like an alcohol beer.
As of this writing, Float House brews are available through retail partners across Connecticut, with direct-to-consumer sales via their website launching soon.
