Our N/ATION Review:
Best Day Brewing has never been shy about its mission to make non-alcoholic craft beer that doesn't ask you to compromise. Since launching in 2021, the northern California brand has stacked up an impressive lineup across styles, with everything from IPAs to their beloved Kölsch, and have earned a national footprint to match. Their newest addition, Wild American, takes on one of the trickiest formats in the NA space: the American Pilsner. Simple by design, it's a style with nowhere to hide, which Best Day manages to pull off.
Wild American pours a clear, light golden with bright carbonation, with the nose a subtle gentle waft of light malt and a whisper of grain. On the palate it's clean and crisp, with balanced hops and malt that don’t try and overstay their welcome. At 33 calories, it's the kind of beer you can reach for all afternoon without a second thought. Crafted with American-farmed hops, grains, and flaked corn, it finishes refreshingly crisp with high carbonation that gives each sip a bright, lively snap. This is a summer beer through and through — and if you're looking for something to put in the cooler for the 4th of July, Wild American might be the most appropriately named option in the NA aisle.
Best Day is widely available. Just use their Store Finder to track it down near you. And if you want to hear more about the brand behind the beer, check out our May 2026 U.S. of N/A podcast interview with Founder and CEO Tate Huffard.
