Best Day Brewing Company's ethos is 'Best Day Yet', as in, celebrate the 'now', a message that fits nicely across all audiences that support and drink N/A beer. This northern California N/A-only brewer has been at it since 2021, and over time has slowly added more brews to its core lineup. The Kolsch is a staple for the brand, and was one of the earliest craft NA entries for the style. It remains wildly popular (and available) nationwide, as the brewery is one of a handful of non-alcoholic craft brewers with a broad footprint.
The Kolsch is definitely light, crisp and refreshing from the jump, and as you might also expect from the style, it has a bright and clear body. Very little bitterness in the mouth, but just enough hops to keep things interesting. We actually got tastes of lemon in the finish, living up to its citrusy billing. All we can say is when you're sad the beer is empty, you know it was a good one.
